No Struggle, No Progress
Yolanda Bias was named Advocate of the Year by the Louisiana Foundation Against Sexual Assault recently. Bias is the Sexual Assault Prevention Coordinator for The Wellspring of Monroe and has been with The Wellspring for 5 years. Bias is an advocate for victims of sexual violence. She has made a tremendous impact on this community as well as the surrounding areas. She partners with area coaches and Girl's Academy, where she supports and empowers them to accomplish their goals and foster healthy relationships. Yolanda Bias is the proud mother of three sons: Nicholas, Jacob and Joshua; three sisters: Wilmeka Bias, Dahlia Shoulders and Elizabeth Shoulders; and three nephews: Jeremiah Johnson, Nehemiah Johnson and Cedric Johnson. Yolanda Bias is a resident of Monroe, LA and she enjoys spending time with family and friends. Congratulations Yolanda Bias, you are the positive change we need to see!
