Books for Kids and Teens

To celebrate Read Across America Day recently, the Library gave away free books to children and teens who have Ouachita Parish Public Library cards. All children and teens who have a card were eligible and received a free book to keep. "A critical part of our library's mission is to advance literacy in Ouachita Parish and one of the best ways to do that is to put books in the hands of our children," said Library Director Robin Toms.
