No Struggle, No Progress

PRAYING CHILDREN

*Inspired by God through Mary Roggerson & Morning Day Prayer Ministries

under the leadership of Pastor Kenneth Nolley, St. Mary Baptist Church

Purpose: For all children to learn, pray and confess the Word of God.

Goal: For all children to have an intimate relationship with God through prayer & His Word.

Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday

And that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. Ephesians 2:16

Prayer: Father God, thank You for loving us. Thank You for Your Word that Christ has reconciled both Jews and Gentiles to You by means of His death, and their hostility toward each other was put to death. I praise and thank You for Christ.

Confession: Jews and Gentiles alike have been reconciled into one body through Christ.

Wednesday and Thursday

And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near. For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father. Ephesians 2:17-18

Prayer: Father God, I am so glad Christ Jesus came and preached the Good News of peace to the Gentiles who were far away from You, and to the Jews who were near. Now all of us, both Jews and Gentiles, may come to You through the same Holy Spirit because of what Christ has done for us. I glorify You, my Father, with gratefulness and joy.

Confession: No longer are the ‘near’ Jews more privileged than the ‘far off’ Gentiles. In Christ, we all come to the Father through the one Spirit.

Friday and Saturday

Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God. Ephesians 2:19

Prayer: Father God, I praise and thank You that I am no longer a stranger and a foreigner. Because of Christ’s reconciling work on the cross, I am now a fellow citizen along with all Your holy people, and a member of Your household. I greatly rejoice in You, Father, for receiving me into Your Kingdom. You are my loving Father forever!

Confession: In Christ, I am a fellow citizen with the saints of the household of God.
