DownSouth Basketball MVPs

This week's DownSouth Sports Magazine Most Valuable Players of the Game were Neville's Jujusana "Jo-Jo" Briggs and Patrick "PD" McCraney Tuesday February 2, 2021 at Neville High School Gymnasium in Monroe LA. Jo-Jo led the "Lady Tigers" in scoring with 16 points and had 6 rebounds to a victory over the Carroll Lady Bulldogs. In boy's game, the Tigers won by a nail-biter 52-51. Patrick "PD" had an overall excellent game with 10 points, 10 assists, 7 rebounds, and 7 steals. The DownSouth MVP awards were presented by Vince "Mr. Pickem Grissom" Burks and sponsored by The Monroe Dispatch and Aubrey's Graphic Designs.
