The Sun Shines Bright in the New Year

Happy New Year! We get to see the sun in another year, and it makes me so glad to have you all with me for the ride. The year 2020 was a doozy! So much happened (and did not happen), but it is now behind us. We will still face many challenges that living in this world can bring whether there is a global pandemic or not. Our job is to deal with the changes life can bring with faith that we can get through. I am certainly faith-filled as we begin a new year again. If I can impart one thing to you, it is - do not be afraid to plan. Some people I have spoken with are apprehensive about planning for 2021. 2020 threw so many curve balls that most are having a difficult time envisioning what their new year will look like. It is still important to have a plan and set goals for what you wish to accomplish. There is a lot of pressure to have everything figured out before the stroke of midnight on the last day of the year. The reality is things continually unfold as we live. It is important to have a plan, but discerning God's direction is the most important navigation system we have in this life! So what lies ahead? A year full of potential, unlimited growth, and endless possibilities! Cheers to you all!
