Irma DeTiege Scholarship

The late Legendary Irma DeTiege was a nobody who became somebody only by God's Grace and Mercy. She came from Riverton LA to Monroe LA traveling some of the hardest roads in life, while becoming a beacon of hope to the world. She lived it all coming up poor then making a place in the sun, where there's hope for everyone. Never forgetting where she came, she inspired more people of all colors than we'll ever know to rise. She told people how it was which made you rise or mad with her homespun terminology. In her memory, The Ima DeTiege Scholarship Committee awards scholarships in her honor to inspire students. 2020 Irma DeTiege Scholarship Recipients are Amber Harris, Kamari Johnson and Randall Bishop.
