A golden heart has stopped beating, hard work and loving hands put to rest; God broke our hearts to prove to us that he only takes the best. A heartfelt thank you to all for your prayers, calls kind words, and loving thoughts. The compassion and empathy that you have shown our family will never be forgotten and is genuinely appreciated. Brenda Delores Harris was born July 30, 1962 to the late Carrie Elaine Harris and Oliver Charles (O.C.) Willis. She departed this life Friday, December 25, 2020 at 12:32 a.m. at her residence. She leaves to cherish her memories Six Generations: four sons: Duriel, Eric, Cedric, & Carlos Harris, four brothers: Oliver, Bobby, Ernest (Tonya) & Terry Harris, three sisters: Sharon Carter, Cynthia & Ursula Harris & One Adopted Sister: Valarie Harris – all of Monroe LA, ten grandchildren, one great grandchild, two great aunts, two maternal aunts, one uncle, a special brotherly friend: Mr. Joey Trappey and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Visitation Services for Sis. Brenda D Harris will be Friday, January 8, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Hester's State Funeral Home 811 Louise Anne Ave. Monroe LA. Graveside Services will be held Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Richwood Memorial Gardens, 2705 Richwood Rd #2 Richwood LA at 2pm with Pastor William E. Ross Officiating.
