No Struggle, No Progress
P.E.E.P. ( People Economics Education & Public Service) in recognition of the late Elaine Clay held it 25th Annual Thanksgiving Event Saturday November 21, 2020 at P.E.E.P. Corporate Office at 1411 Orange St. In Monroe LA. In memory of Elaine Clay these words were written and shared to honor her legacy by her Godson Judge Alvin R. Sharp. For the Race You Have Run-It seems you started with just a "click," like from a stopwatch that continued to tick. Your non-stop action moved on and on; Always will to help from dusk to dawn. Engergized from the start, motivated to do your part. Your commitment was dear-from over there, to over here. "Ms. Clay,"you were called known as "Elaine," your value and worth to most is difficult to explain. From politics, to fitness, from church as God's witness, your time started with just a "click" like that of a stopwatch that continued to tick. You left a mark indeed an indelible stain; That worked to bring relief to other people's pain. You gave over a heart, and that heart was true. That heart came to us from you. We now must perpetuate it, each moment under the sun, we honor you today, for the race you have run. Ms. Elaine's Family gave remarks and a photo of her was unveiled. There was a blessing bag distribution where 125 bags with a turkey and all the trimmings were given to those in need. A Thanksgiving Buffet shared by all those in attendance by the P.E.E.P. Organization. Happy Thanksgiving.
