Margie Deloris Harris Davis graced the world with her presence on a bright and blessed day of July 17, 1947. She was born in Monroe, Louisiana the third child to the late Thomas and Lucille Harris. Margie was a 1965 graduate of Richwood High School. She pursued a nursing career and graduated from Delta Ouachita Vocational School practical nursing program in 1972. She then furthered her nursing career at Northeast Louisiana University where she received a bachelors in nursing in 1978. She pledged and was a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated.
