PRAYING CHILDREN

*Inspired by God through Mary Roggerson & Morning Day Prayer Ministries

under the leadership of Pastor Kenneth Nolley, St. Mary Baptist Church

Purpose: For all children to learn, pray and confess the Word of God.

Goal: For all children to have an intimate relationship with God through prayer & His Word.

Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday

Thy Word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. Psalm 119:11

Prayer: Father, I come before You with Your Word in my heart and upon my lips. I thank You that Your Holy Spirit is within me to give me understanding of Your Word and to help me be obedient in following it and to declare it to others. Praise God!

Confession: I have hidden God’s Word in my heart that I might not sin against Him. I find pleasure in His Word and have a desire to know it and practice it.

Wednesday and Thursday

Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Psalm 119:105

Prayer: Father, I am thankful that Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path. I rejoice in Your Word because it shines light on all of my situations. I can see where I am going and not stumble because Your Word is shining brightly in my heart. It is my guide for living. Bless God!

Confession: God’s Word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path. It is the light that helps me follow the right path.

Friday and Saturday

Every Word of God is pure; He is a shield unto them that put their trust in Him. Proverbs 30:5

Prayer: Father, it is so satisfying to know that every Word of Yours is tried and purified. Your Words are true and they are always reliable. You are a shield to me because I trust You wholeheartedly. Thank God!

Confession: Every promise of God proves true. He protects everyone who runs to Him for help. God is a shield to me because I trust and take refuge in Him.
