PRAYING CHILDREN

*Inspired by God through Mary Roggerson & Morning Day Prayer Ministries

under the leadership of Pastor Kenneth Nolley, St. Mary Baptist Church

Purpose: For all children to learn, pray and confess the Word of God.

Goal: For all children to have an intimate relationship with God through prayer & His Word.

Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday

This is what I command you; that you love one another. John 15:17

Prayer: Father, I am forever thankful for Your unfailing love. I am forever grateful that Jesus willingly gave His life for me. As a disciple of Jesus, I choose to love all my brothers and sisters in Christ. Father, thank You for empowering me to do everything that You command me to do in Jesus’ Name.

Confession: I choose to obey the command that Jesus has given me; that I love one another.

Wednesday and Thursday

Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. Romans 12:9

Prayer: Father, I thank You that Your love abides in me so richly that I can truly love others without pretense. As Your beloved child, I hate what is evil and cling to what is good. May I glorify You in all I do.

Confession: My love for others is sincere. I hate what is evil and hold on to what is good.

Friday and Saturday

Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another. Romans 12:10

Prayer: Father, I will honor and praise You by living according to Your Word with the help of Your Holy Spirit. It is good for me to love others with brotherly affection, giving precedence and showing honor to others. Father, keep me on this path.

Confession: I love my brothers and sisters in Christ with genuine affection. I take delight in honoring them.
