Building a diverse and inclusive workforce means more than simply recruiting top talent -- it means mentoring a new generation of builders while fostering a culture of innovation and creative thinking. Geared toward construction and engineering students, JE Dunn’s new National Diversity Scholarship supports our 3-pillar strategy for diversity and inclusion: workforce, workplace, and marketplace. The scholarship is $5,000 paid over the course of two years. It is awarded 8 people nationally each year. JE Dunn is accepting applications for the National Diversity Scholarship between August 24-October 9. To qualify for the National Diversity Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria: • Rising sophomore • Person of color • Enrolled in a construction or engineering program • Hold a 3.0 GPA. We’ll keep you informed along the way. All applicants can expect to receive a confirmation of their application upon completion. Selected applicants will be invited to participate in interviews beginning in late October. The selection committee intends to notify award recipients in late November and awards will be received beginning the following academic year.
