No Struggle, No Progress

Cleoria Dunn's Treasured Farewell

Here today gone tomorrow, live everyday as if its your last day. It is with sincere regrets that community servant Cleoria Dunn has found her way to the promised land. Cleoria was a champion for the cause of helping others. She helped the children and adults by giving them hope through knowledge and education. She was a light in the valley that outshined the sun in so many ways. Cleoria conducted programs for the poor and disenfranchised of our community. She registered folks to vote who had never voted or never knew they could. Cleoria was a quiet giant in our community for so many, while she's already missed. She took on many programs to better others while giving all she had to help others. "When one door closes another door opens; but we so often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door, that we do not see the ones which open for us." ~ Alexander Graham Bell. Cleoria went home to be with the Lord on Saturday August 8, 2020. Her funeral services are Saturday August 15, 2020 at 11am at Pine Grove Church Monroe LA . Visitation is Friday August 14, from 4-6pm at Smith Funeral Home
