Separate sealed BIDS for the Masur Museum of Art Storm Damage Repair will be received by the City of Monroe, at the City of Monroe Purchasing Division, 1014 Grammont Street, Monroe, Louisiana 71201. Bids will be received until 1:45 P.M. on September 30. 2020.
All bids received will be open and read aloud in the Purchasing Division via WebEx, at 2:15 p.m. for furnishing the City of Monroe. ALL Prime Bidders MUST obtain copies of Bidding Documents from LAND 3 ARCIIlTECT INC., 1900 Stubbs Avenue Monroe, LA 71201, 318-322-2694 (ext. 3). upon payment of $50.00 deposit for each printed set, less postage. Deposits on the first set of printed documents furnished to bona fide prime bidders shall be fully refunded upon return of the documents no later than ten days after receipt of bids in accordance with the State Public Bid Law. On other sets of documents furnished to bidders, the deposit less the actual cost of reproduction, shall be refunded upon return of the documents no later than ten days after receipt of bids. Bid documents are also available from the Architect in electronic form (pdf set) via email at no charge by emailing [email protected].
The goal for Disadvantaged Business Enterprise participation is 4 % of the dollar value of this contract. All bidders and proposers shall make good faith efforts to subcontract to the greatest extent feasible to small business concerns owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged businesses.
Evidence of authority to submit the Bid shall be required in accordance with La RS 38:2212 (a)(l)(c). each Bid must be sealed and plainly marked with the bid number, company, license number and the company's return address. No late bids will be accepted.
Bidders have the option to submit bids electronically. To submit a bid electronically, bidders must register at http://www.bidexpress.com. Bidders submitting bids electronically must obtain copies of Bidding Documents from the design professional as indicated elsewhere herein. The City of Monroe reserves the right to reject any and all bids pursuant to State of Louisiana Law la RS 38.
