On Monday July 27, 2020 in front of the Monroe Civic Center Arena due to rain, the Monroe Ouachita NAACP voiced peaceful concerns involving Monroe Police Brutality of Timothy Williams, recognizing Congressman John Lewis and Rev. C.T. Vivian. The NAACP led by President Rev, Ambrose Douzart vowed to keep the fight for the rights of all by protests and legal avenues.
