Going to a New Home

The road home is and always will be heavily traveled by everyone at some point in time. Many look at it as dreadful, while others view it as freedom. One of our own has made it home like all of us will, at one time or another. If possible, rejoice and be glad when that time comes. Hearts are saddened at the passing of Bernadine Staten. Mrs. Staten was a former educator who touched the lives of many students. She had a special gift with people, especially the young. Her wisdom and inspiration for those accepted her words of encouragement will inspire those who heard. Mrs. Staten inspired many to become what they thought they couldn't. She will be remembered as one who cared and gave her all to others. On Tuesday July 28, Mrs. Staten went home to be with the Lord. Her final rites will be announced from the funeral home. Left to cherish her mother's memory is her daughter Ferlencia Mariah Staten. Please remember this family in prayer.
