There are some people in our city today make lasting impressions. The magnitude of their services is just impossible to describe. Mr. Rod Washington is this very special person. Words to express our appreciation and gratitude seem limited, but the prompting of our hearts bid us to thank you for a job well done. Thank you Mr. Rod Washington for going above and beyond to assist my grandson, Randall D. Bishop, as he represented the City of Monroe, Little Mister Deltafest 2010- 2011 and 2011-2012. Each event, Rod, you greeted Randall with a smile and a cordial welcome. We were truly blessed to have such an outstanding leader like Rod who was willing to go above and beyond showing his loyal support. This kind of service is very much appreciative. Rod Washington has always displayed great leadership, good character and superb services on a daily basis. He worked every day to give the City of Monroe the very best you had to offer: his knowledge and patience; his attention and care. It was hard work, but his efforts did not go unnoticed. Through his deeds and great works, he built better bridges in the effort to make a difference in our city and community. With all duties incumbent upon him as Public Relations/Media Coordinator, he found time to make a positive impact on the lives of all children. Rod believed that all children are essential to America's future. Rod diligently labored his time, contributions, support and love for Summer Work Program. Determination, perseverance and hard work exemplified the life, works and accomplishments of Rod Washington. I am grateful for him caring about the citizens of Monroe. Rod, you are a true hero. Caring is sharing. You cared, and you shared. Your works have truly spoken for you. Thank you for your kindness and God Bless You. Wishing you all the blessings!
