Eddye Hobson Loving, Outgoing Devoted

March 20, 1949 - July 19, 2020

Eddye Lorraine Hobson was born on March 20, 1949, in Monroe, Louisiana. She transitioned to eternity with her Lord on July 19, 2020, in Garland, Texas. The older of two children, Eddye graduated from Carroll High School and went on to attend Northeast Louisiana University, now University of Louisiana at Monroe (ULM), where she focused on Business. She enjoyed a longtime career working in various roles in telecommunication. Eddye was a faithful member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church where she served in the Usher ministry. Among many hobbies, Eddye delighted in cooking and gardening. She most loved spending time with her grandchildren who called her house, "The Party Palace", as she ensured a good time for them at every visit. Affectionately regarded as "Ma'am" by her grandchildren, Eddye will be fondly remembered for her outgoing, charismatic, devoted, and loving nature. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Mary Mercy Davis. Those left to cherish sweet memories include her daughter, Stephanie Robinson (Terry); son, Keith Scott; daughter, Freda Biggers (Clinton); grandchildren: Christina Banks Emerson (Alec), Kenneth Lawrence, Jr. Brittany Strawder, Tyler Westmoreland, Asia Adams-Fleming, Keivia Scott, and Madison Biggers; great-grandchildren: Marlee Elle Adaia and Jordin Marie Shannon; brother, Dewayne Davis; and a host of other relatives and friends.Private celebration of life is Monday July 27, 2020, 10 am at Chamberlain Funerals & Cremations 333 West Ave. D. Garland TX.
