Keenan Cain's Brilliant Legacy

Monroe native Keenan Cain passed away on July 5, 2020 but leaves behind a brilliant legacy that will be remembered by many. Keenan was born, December 17, 1975 to parents Eddie Johnson Jr. and Pamela Cain. He attended Robinson Elementary, Ouachita Junior High and Ouachita High Schools, then went on to attend Grambling State University. After college, Cain relocated to Cedar Hill, TX where he worked as Associate Vice President of Nation Star Mortgage and Roosevelt Management/ Rushmore Mortgage. More recently, he was the owner of Cain Transportation Service and Pinnacle Solutions. Family members who preceded him in death include his grandparents: Leon and Dorothy Cain, Eddie Johnson Sr. and Olive Blanch Hardy; aunt and uncles -Patricia Bishop, Jessie Lee Cain, and Samuel Cain. He leaves to cherish his memory: wife, O'Linda Cain; five children, Keenan Jr., Kynnadei, Khalil, Lawrence, and KeShawnna; parents -Eddie Johnson Jr. and Pamela Cain; aunts and uncles - Jacqueline Herron, Constance Johnson, Rosemary Gibbons, Tawana Gray, Leon Cain Jr., Rosie O'steen, Jerry Dillard, Grady Cain, Jacqueline Moore, Terry Cain, Michael Thomas, and Donnie Cain. Funeral Visitation: Thursday, July 23, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home and A Crematory in Dallas, TX. Celebration of Life: 1:00 PM Friday July 24, 2020 at Friendship West Baptist Church in Dallas, TX.
