No Struggle, No Progress

P.E.E.P. OMCAP Donation

Kenneth Wilson, City Councilman of District 4, along with P.E.E.P. Inc. donated $1000 to Ouachita Multi-Purpose Community Action Program (OMCAP) on Juneteenth June 19, 2020. The funds donated will be applied to the utility bills of citizens who have had a loss of wages due to COVID-19 or who have had added expenses due to the April 12,2020 Tornado. OMCAP was chosen as the recipient of this donation because they are no stranger to helping citizens in the community who are in need of assistance and OMCAP already has a system in place for making sure that those in need are helped. In addition P.E.E.P. is going to make a $10,000 donation to OMCAP with $4000 already donated from First Baptist Church 507 Swayze St. Monroe LA, Creed & Creed, Sparks Nissan Kia William Sparks, New St. James Family of Faith, Rev. Vance Price. Kenneth Wilson, City Councilman of District 4 and PEEP Inc are still working to meet the $10000 goal. Thanks to First Baptist Church, Attorney Christian and Catherine Creed, William Sparks, Rev. Vance Price and OMCAP Kenya Dawson for allowing P.E.E.P. to, "bring light to dark places!"
