No Struggle, No Progress
The True Church Jesus said, I will build my church. He did not say I will build churches, denominations or sects. He said the gates of hell would not prevail against it. Where is that true church today and what is the church? Why does it exist? The church I am talking about is the one Jesus Christ founded and carries His mission, His church cannot be destroyed because Jesus said that He would always be in the mist Jesus called His disciples who were to become the foundation of the church, to come out from among the world and be separate (II Corinthians 6:17). Some churches believe God is eternity - God in the persons - God reveals Himself in the Bible. In John 1:1-5 we find the following statement: In the beginning was the word, the word was made flesh and became Jesus Christ. The church was born in Jerusalem and grew up in the Greek world. It was the Bible that first evangelized the world and introduced to it Christian education. The purpose of Christian education is to return the Bible back into Christian life. The Bible was written for children as well as adults. In the true church the Bible is the light that leads us to life. It is the life that brings light. One may believe in God but knows little about Him. Some people take God for granted. Where is the true church? This is the church Christ founded, the one that carries His message and mission, the one that He would never leave or forsake. Jesus called His disciples to become the foundation of the Church, to come out of the world and “be separate” (II Corinthians 5:17-18). Jesus Christ found His church. Jesus said. “I will build my Church (Matthew 16:18) In Ephesians 2:21, the Church is called a building (spiritual temple of God) - Jesus Christ is the foundation. The church started small and grew. It started with 12 apostles and 120 baptized the day of Pentecost; this is the day the true Church was founded.
