No Struggle, No Progress

Luther Burrell Moving Home

The end of life is just as amazing as the beginning, it is all a mystery. Luther Burrell 76, was born in December of 1943 and was a Carroll High 1961 Graduate. He attended Grambling, later joining the United States Air Force. Being a life-long Monroe resident, Luther worked and retired from General Motors. He was a son, husband, father, brother, and friend who was social while never meeting a stranger. Many who knew him had only high praise for Luther being a God-fearing person. He was member of the Samaritan Civic and Social Club. His heart was clean, yet his spirit was genuine. Luther went to Glory Tuesday May 26, 2020. He was preceded in death by his mother and wife Emma Burrell. His final rites will be announced from Smith Funeral Home in Monroe LA. Please remember his family in prayer.
