(Ephesians 2:4-5)
I would have been forsaken without a father or mother,
BUT GOD took me in
My winters would have been cold when I had no cover,
BUT GOD protected me
from the winds.
I would have stumbled and fell to the ground,
BUT GOD ordered my steps in
His word
I would have been lost thinking love was a noun,
BUT GOD proved that
it is a verb.
I would have died when the doctor threw in the towel
BUT GOD stepped in and turned it all around.
I would have drowned, in a sea of drugs, and liquor
BUT GOD didn't frown, when I was a thug, and showed me I am a winner.
I would have burned in the flames and lost all sense of hope
BUT GOD was in the midst, the fire was tamed, and I don't even smell like smoke.
I would have went insane and lost my mind
BUT GOD intervened and He was right on time.
I would have quit and gave up, on my dreams
BUT GOD saw fit, to lend me His strength, now
"I CAN DO ALL THINGS".
