PRAYING STUDENTS

*Inspired by God through Mary Roggerson & Morning Day Prayer Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Kenneth Nolley, St. Mary Baptist Church Purpose: For all children to learn, pray and confess the Word of God. Goal: For all children to have an intimate relationship with God through prayer & His Word. Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday Well then, since God’s grace has set us free from the law, does that mean we can go on sinning? Of course not! Don’t you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey? You can be a slave to sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God, which leads to righteous living. Romans 6:15-16 NLT Prayer: Father God, your amazing grace leads me to the cross where my sin is paid and done away. Thank You that I am no longer under the law, but under grace. Father God, I know Your grace is not an invitation for me to continue in sin. I choose to obey You, which leads to righteous living. I will guard my heart and mind with Your teaching. In Christ, I am a new person, dead to sin, and a slave to righteousness. Father God, I acknowledge You as my Master. Confession: I am a slave to righteousness. Wednesday and Thursday But now you are free from the power of sin and have become slaves of God. Now you do those things that lead to holiness and result in eternal life. Romans 6:22 NLT Prayer: Father God, thank You for loving me. Thank You for all You have done for me through Your Son, Jesus. Thank You for the Holy Spirit to help me become and do all that is pleasing to You. Father, my desire is to glorify You with my entire life. Confession: In Christ, I have been set free from the power of sin and have become a slave of God. I dedicate myself to a holy life. The benefit I reap leads to holiness and eternal life. Friday and Saturday For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23 NLT Prayer: Father God, my heart greatly rejoices in You for Your unconditional love and amazing grace. I praise and thank You for the free gift of eternal life through Christ Jesus my Lord. I am forever thankful to You. Father, I proclaim that “You are the God of my Salvation!” All honor and glory belong to You. Confession: God’s free gift to me is eternal life in Christ Jesus my Lord.
