No Struggle, No Progress
When the norm becomes unnormal, there will be problems that will become most unusual. When people are shopping in stores, everyone is either trying to find a buy their items leaving the store for the next shopper. There is minimal conversation unless customers can't find what they are attempting to purchase. Lately, if you've been in some stores, you may have witnessed customers using loud, profane language, disrespecting management, and disturbing other customers. According to police reports, on March 7, Deputies were dispatched to contain a combative person in a store. Deputies saw employees attempting to restrain Suspect Amber P. Thompson on the floor, who was trying to attack a store employee.
The suspect was immediately placed into custody and secured in a patrol unit. Customers and employees told deputies that the suspect entered the store, causing a disturbance. The suspect was so out of control, towards customers and employees that some suffered injuries. One victim was bitten on the hand and elbow, another victim was scratched in the face, and a third victim was bitten on the shoulder. The suspect was arrested and charged with Simple Battery. There are three sides to every story. This was one side of this story. The Monroe Dispatch welcomes the other or another side of this story.
