Rush Hour Robbery

In such a time as these, you must never let your guard down. Times and people have changed. It is sad to say, yet true, if you do not know people who run upon you, you must dismiss them. Don't try and judge, though, because that is God's call. Monroe Residents have been left uneasy after a string of burglaries and attempted burglaries have happened at gas stations/convenience stores in Monroe, LA. The most recent robbery occurred early morning Saturday, March 14, at the Rush Hour Convenience Store on Winnsboro Road. The victim, the gas station's attendant, was closing shop when he was attacked by two masked burglars who demanded cash. He initially tried fighting off his attackers during the scuffle, but attackers drew a weapon and shot him several times. Days later, the victim is in ICU as he is trying to recover and share info with police to find his attackers.
