No Struggle, No Progress

The End Is Near!

Rejoicing in the Lord, praising and worshiping him gives him great pleasure. When we're in unity God commands a blessing (Psalm 133), keeping his commandments honors him. During reconstruction, a settlement of 350 African Americans built a town that had the first public school, banks, stores, and shops, everything needed for daily activities. This was because their confidence was in God, and not themselves. Evil workers came by night hooded, covered with sheets and burned many of the settlements down, and killed many.Beware of dogs! Our faith in Christ Jesus and the power of his resurrection, and remembering his sufferings, encourages those who suffer wrongly to continue to build. Let's forget those things behind us, and press toward the mark of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Let us walk by the same rules, let us mind the same things, for our conversation is in heaven. We look to our Savior the Lord Jesus Christ who shall change our vile body that it may be fashioned like his glorious body. Well Bless God! We have come this far by faith, leaning on the Lord, trusting in his holy word, he's never failed me yet. Superintendent, Henry E. Davison
