No Struggle, No Progress
Things happen so fast nowadays, one can easily become overwhelmed. We are constantly bombarded with subtle messages which make wrong seem right by the world's standard. If your conscious never makes you realize that actions have consequences, life can be ruined by one misguided choice. According to police reports, law enforcement was dispatched to E. Carlton St. due to an aggravated assault complaint. According to the victim her on/off boyfriend of ten years had a verbal dispute. As the victim was leaving the residence, she observed the Suspect Leonard Williams exit the front door with a long gun. The victim saw the gun and tried to get away real fast. When she began to drive away, she heard a loud gunshot as she approached a stop sign not far from her residence. There was a witness in the car at the time of the incident who stated they observed the suspect and victim were involved in a verbal dispute as they were leaving observing the suspect exit the residence with a firearm which was discharged in an unknown direction. Police contacted the suspect who was advised of Miranda Rights. Suspect told police the victim slapped him across the face for an unknown reason, which prompted anger when he told the victim to leave the residence. The suspect then exited the residence with a 20-gauge shotgun discharging one round in the air. The suspect was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a firearm.
