No Struggle, No Progress
Daisy Mae Lawson was a phenomenal woman. Her love and care for her family was overwhelming. Daisy was born to the late Jeff Hayes and the late Pearl Davis in Start LA on January 30, 1936. She was reared by Arthur Jones. Daisy went home to be with the Lord January 10, 2020 at her home in Monroe LA. Daisy was baptized at an early age at Jones Chapel Missionary Baptist Church where she remained a faithful member until her passing. Daisy was a friend to so many people that she loved. Her kind warm compassioned spirit was shown by those who’s lives she touched. Cherishing her memories her children Dorothy Laeson, Lesley Jones (Thad), Raymond Lawson and Joseph Hayes Monroe LA, Nathan Hayes (Kenya) Baton Rouge LA, Ethel Fredrickson Lake Village AR, five sisters Gloria Naylor Thomas, Lottie Jones, Pearl Jones, Laura Hayes, Ruthie Bradley, six brothers Arthur, Roosevelt, Purcell, and Anthony Jones, Jeff and Charles Hayes, twenty one grandchildren, thirty eight grandchildren and a host of family and friends. Daisy’ s funeral services were Saturday January 18, 2020 at Lifeline Fellowship Church in Monroe LA under the direction of Tennant Funeral Home Rayville LA.
