On Saturday, December 28, 2019 at 5 p.m. at the Mt. at Zion Family Life Center, Rev. James and Virginia Howard celebrated 50 years of marital bliss. The ceremony performed by Rev. A. B. Davis-Johnson, was a renewing of the marriage vows which left the audience of nearly 200 friends and relatives spellbound. The couple danced to their favorite song, "God Blessed Our Love" by O.V. Wright, while the audience looked on.
