No Struggle, No Progress

Robbed at Gunpoint

One of the scariest moments is when someone has pulled a gun on you unexpected. Hard to imagine with so many scary thoughts running through your mind. It is an unpredictable instant, where most are unfamiliar. In the land of milk and honey, if or when it happens, hopefully not, how do you think you might react? According to police reports on Saturday November 9, West Monroe Police responded to a robbery complaint. A victim was held a gunpoint and robbed by two black males. After the robbery shots were fired at the victim. A description of the vehicle and the license plate for the vehicle was given to police as the suspects fled. Contact was made with the registered owner of the suspect's vehicle which was Donneshia Davis who was interviewed at West Monroe Police Station. The suspect admitted to driving her boy friend and a friend to a Riverbend residence at which time a robbery and gunshots occurred. The suspect then drove the suspects away from the scene to an area off Hwy 139, where suspects laid low for a couple hours. The suspect then drove the robbery suspects to another vehicle where robbery suspects identities remain unknown. Suspect Donnehia D. Davis was booked and charged with armed robbery. There are three sides to every story. This was one side of this story. The Monroe Dispatch welcomes another or the other side of this story.
