No Struggle, No Progress
I've always loved the thought of cooking. I watched cooking shows and watched my grandmother in the kitchen countless times. As I've gotten older, I've also come to enjoy the process. I most often learn to make things after I've tried it or after people reneged on making it for me. My most recent food obsession has been white chocolate cookies. Most stores sell them with macadamia nuts and I'm not a fan of those types of nuts, so one day a few weeks ago I decided to pull out my mixer a bake them myself. My white chocolate cookies came out pretty good, so I decide a week later to make another batch. I changed up the second batch adding a little bit more of some of the ingredients that I like. I shared this batch with family, friends and colleagues and the cookies were a big hit! Since then I've made a few more batches tweaking my recipe here and there. In life, we must do the same. In order to get our desired outcome, we sometimes have to tweak our attitude or the way we do things in order to get our desired outcome. We must make adjustments that make sense and work for us! Do you feel stuck or keep hitting your head against a wall? Change your recipe!
