Purpose: For all children to learn, pray and confess the Word of God.

Goal: For all children to have an intimate relationship with God through prayer & His Word.

PRAYING CHILDREN

Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday

Do not quench the Spirit. 1 Thessalonians 5:19

Prayer: Father, thank You for Your Word. I will not suppress or subdue the work of the Holy Spirit in my life. Nor will I hinder Him in the midst of others. I yield myself to Your will and to the work of the Spirit.

Confession: I do not quench the Spirit.

Wednesday and Thursday

Do not despise prophecies. Test all things, hold fast what is good. 1 Thessalonians 5:20-21

Prayer: Father, thank You for the Holy Spirit. I will listen to the teaching and preaching of Your Word. With the help of the Holy Spirit, I will hold fast to what is true and reject what is false.

Confession: I do not despise prophecies. I test everything by God’s Word to determine what is true.

Friday and Saturday

Abstain from every form of evil. 1 Thessalonians 5:22

Prayer: Father, You are holy and righteous. There is no evil in You. I am so thankful that I belong to You. By Your grace, I will abstain from every form of evil. Father, let my life honor and glorify You.

Confession: I will abstain from every form of evil and anything that tempts me to sin.
