Twice this past week, there have been more than 1,400 deaths reported in a single day. According to Jennifer Nuzzo, a senior scholar at J...

Like many of you, when I am in trouble, I call upon the Lord. And, it was during a time of crisis in my life that He inspired me with this "joint" that I wanted to "pass" on to y'all. It is my prayer that we are reminded that God should not be used as an ATM machine that we run to ONLY when we are in a crisis or in need of a blessing. When we reflect upon what He has already done and continues to do in our lives, we will usually find the answers we are seeking to solve our present situation....

The word “hero” shouldn’t be taken lightly. We hear it often when someone has done a good deed for someone else, where that deed made a difference/change in their lives. They will say, “I only did” what anyone else would have done, which is not the case. Being in the right place at the right time helps, but it is that “inner something” that compels some...
